Hi all,

I have been here for more than 5 years but now sadly have to leave.

My employment finishes next month but I want to stay until early January.

I think I should be able to leave to country and come back in with a 60 day tourist visa. My plan is to go to Jakarta to see a family member - who is living right next to the Thai Embassy!

Then get a 30 day extension whilst back in BKK to get me to the start of the year.

Does this sound realistic to you guys - I've never needed to do this before, everything has been done by my employer in the past. And now the visa rules are changing.

Advice appreciated. Thanks in advance.

should be fine ....

with your history here you may be able to get a non-O but a double entry Tourist would be very likely.
