whats wrong with yahoo today?

Featured Replies

Using ToT and cant seem t open any of my Yahoo mails or any other yahoo section like sport or others.

Also seem to have problems with facebook?

ToT being the government controlled provider would this be the beginning of this firewall set up?

Yep, we're having the same problems with ToT. It's a major drag at the moment... And indeed, my wife told me it was in the Thai news somewhere that the government will indeed be doing their firewall trials with ToT... Time to consider moving on!

so how much will this last I havent been able to any of my Emails at all today

TiT.... who knows... Could by days, months, years. My advice, get a VPN with encrypted tunnel setup, as these are not currently blocked.

Btw, I feel your frustration. My actual livelihood depends on fast internet access, so I'm right there with you :(

They just give that big firewall a test run, the one all businesses and everybody gains from.

Had the same problem in the afternoon.

And not only yahoo.

Now it looks good.

(I had switched to Google DNS in the meantime, no idea whether it will work with automatic DNS)

I'm also on TOT and had problems connecting to some websites today.

Tried switching to Google DNS, but that didn't help.

Anyone had any issues with FaceTime today at all ?

This morning all looks normal again (FB, yahoo and others).

Just another glitch.

looks like we are at it again

yahoo mail, Facebook messenger Thaivisa (though just returned to normal) and my bank sites not working

It seems to be related to ssl (https) traffic that's either slow or not working altogether. I suspected the great firewall stuff but wasn't sure if i was being paranoid. I'm using 3BB, anyone know if that uses TOT or CAT's gateway? Aren't there only the 2 main gateways in and out of thailand anyways?

testing on 2 gateways in/out of thailand. some sites will have problem
