Woman accused of murdering husband

Featured Replies

A woman was arrested in Mondulkiri’s Sen Monorom town after allegedly stabbing her common law husband, a local official, to death in a jealous rage on Wednesday, police said.

Sen Monorom town police chief Pril Raman said that suspect Meas Chantra, 26, initially told police that she tried to kill herself, then accidentally stabbed her husband, Touch Chanheng, in the stomach when he tried to wrest the knife away from her, but later admitted to killing him.

Chantra – who was Chanheng’s second wife – told police that the stabbing happened during a drunken jealously fuelled argument with Chanheng.

ThaiVisa, c'est aussi en français

ThaiVisa, it's also in French

The victim died a few minutes after arriving at Sen Monorom Hospital. Chanheng was in charge of controlling identification cards in Sen Monorom town. He leaves behind three sons.

Probably bled out on the long way to the hospital. Feel for the three now fatherless sons. Yeah, those "drunken jealously fueled arguments" never turn out for the good.

lately too many news on Cambodia here on thai visa ( not bad, its good to know and read news about Cambodia) .

But it seems the country has less law and order as people commits various crimes and there punishments are also forgiven at times by the judicial system. kind of strange way to deal crimes.
