October 3, 201510 yr If one has visited for the 6 months (on a ten year visa), how long do they have to stay out of USA before they can come back for another 6 months. I have a friend that would like to stay 7 or 8 months, is there a way to extend it while in USA. Appreciate any info....
October 3, 201510 yr Surely this is all covered on a US Embassy website. I would not want to have a stranger tell me what they think they know. You can look it up.... I will do the same, as I am going to apply for a tourist visa for my girlfriend (live in wife)..next year.
October 3, 201510 yr I to would be interested to know. As I am looking long rang towards an extended holiday with the live in wife that would take me from Canada to Mexico at a very leisurely pace.
October 3, 201510 yr Max stay is six months in a rolling year on a B2 10 year visa. If you already used up six months....wait a year before re-entry. Be warned that it is up to the immigration officer at your arrival area. He may want proof of income...and other data (sounds like thailand lol). They have the final say how long you can stay. There is a pdf you can download on b2 visas...google that and download it. I would be very hesitant to take the wife out of the usa to canada and mexico...that is two exits...and then back in. She may be denied/limited on her second entry. My wife was almost denied reentry from mexico (filipina) ..but that was 30 years ago. Stand by...more will answer.
