Camping with dogs?

Featured Replies

As the colder season nears, we're going this year for some camping with the dogs. Should of course be fun and they should enjoy it too, not like Huay Tueng Tao on a short chain. Water would be nice though.

For the tents itself, have BigC Hang Dong and Kad Suan Keaw on my list, was recommended somewhere here (suggestions welcome).

But the main question, what are good campgrounds that accept 2 bigger dogs (Husky an mixed Thai)? I think there is one on Doi Pui when you turn right before the Hmong village. Quite remote, so probably not many people before high season. They could hunt some dear and we have a nice BBQ :D.

Any other suggestions? (I'm not going to throw 400B farang price in an overcrowded national park)

Thanks!

I'd be careful near some of those 'dear'. If an old dear see you, you'd better start running!

Don't know who would be more afraid :D....anyway....let some ideas come in...

Been disappointed to discover barred entry at multiple national parks with a well behaved pet dog..

What do they think a dog is going to do to a national park forest ???

Be careful with ticks. They are everywhere and if not dealt with properly, can kill your dog.
