Thailand's roads aren't built for that kind of speed and most of these riders probably don't know how to ride the 'Thai' way. I certainly would not like to ride with hoons like that. anyway they dont send an invitation to you either to join them i am sure. I hope you're not a English teacher... Benelli 300 or something? i ride a scoopy i but can do 140 kph with it! can you? sure no balls! i can smoke those guys on the video with my scoopy i scooter! 140 is pretty common on a scooter if going off a cliff. depends on the rider and cliff. i am a super good rider riding for 4 years so lots of experience and skills so can do 140 kph with a scoopy i. indeed, my record is 153 kph with it. Ghostrider there are many different kinds of guys to ride with you should join the ones you feel comfortable with; however most likely you won't find them here as this forum was taken over by the sexpat scooter fraction. Most of them probably don't even ride so if I were you, I would just ignore them, especially for hijacking the thread. You will undoubtedly encounter a few more who have not shown up here yet but you will know them soon enough. As I mentioned earlier, there are quite a lot of riding groups in and around Bkk. Those guys in the videos, they might not be suitable for you at this stage as I gather that you're relatively inexperienced in Thai traffic. To ride fast here, it is not sufficient to be a good rider yourself, you must also be experienced in how other (Thai) road users behave and react. First of all, get yourself a bike. Head over the FB and look for some riding groups such as expat bikers etc. From there, you will be able to organiser some rides or join some organised rides. I will check out some groups and yes i need to get used to the traffic here. About the bike i just saw this on sale and its really tempting i know maybe a bit too much to start too but i think i can't resist. Will be alright as i am a expierienced rider right?
