There is no need to see in the rain just increase the number of amulets on the dashboard every thing will be fine.

More the point, there is normally no concern whatsoever with anything going on behind you.

If you think rationally , what is the use of a wiper on the back window if the rear parcel shelf has 6 cushions, 9 stuffed toys, a police hat, a sun hat and the rear window has the name of a university you tell all your friends you attended, a sticker of some falung football team , a police rescue sticker, a sticker of al pacino from some movie close to fifty years ago and any number of other stickers designed to convey your personality,or lack there-of, to the driver of the car stuck in traffic behind you.

All of these also double as a defacto shield to help you not get blinded from the headlights and driving lights from the black tuna or black merc tailgating you on the highway.at nigh time. If you learn how to " fink too mutt " you will find a reason for everything.

Rainex works pretty well, but need to reapply it every couple of weeks in the wet season. The water beads up pretty quickly and runs off the glass quickly. I usually use it on the front and rear windows, but all glass can be done. It seems ok on the headlights too.

Are you not able to use the ones on the outside either ?

Might time to invest in rear parking sensors and reverse camera.

I also have a Fiesta Hatchback.. It has a rear windscreen wiper which has been as standard on the hatchback since the current shape came in about 2010. Like previous posts generally hatch backs have a rear wiper and washers and sedans go without. The Fiesta sedan also goes without a rear wiper.. Great little economical car. Plenty of power.. Uses 6 litres of E20 per 100 kilometres on highway and about 7.5 around town. 15000 k service intervals. Only drawback is that all the steering wheel controls are back to front which you have to get used to as its a European design not fully adapted to right drive . So your indicators are on the left of the steering wheel and your wipers are on the right hand side.. First timers end up turning on their wipers on when they want their indicators.. Fustrating but you get over it because YOU HAVE REAR WINDSCREEN WIPERS and washers. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and if you are not careful you turn your indicators on instead !!

having had the car vios sportivo for over 3yrs.i have just found out it has no back wiper

You mean you don't employ a Thai parking attendant kitted out with a whistle and torch? Cheap Charlie.

This is Somchai, my head parking attendant. Fantastic employee, very loyal and never had a problem with reversing.

Does he travel with you in the rear seat or the boot?
