Rainfall declines in Thailand as low pressure system weakens

BANGKOK, 15 October 2015 (NNT)-The amount of rainfall across the nation has declined continuously as a low pressure trough is weakening.


Only 20% of the North, North East, Central Plains and East of the country will experience precipitation, particularly in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Tak, Kampangpetch, Pitsanulok, Mookdaharn, Yasothorn, Ubon Ratchathani, Kanjanaburi, Ratchaburi, Samutsongkam, Chonburi, Rayong, Chantaburi and Trat.

However, thunderstorms have been forecast in most parts of the eastern and western sides of the South. It is expected to rain in a few districts of Bangkok and its vicinity today.
