Yala residents urged to help maintain peace in the province



YALA, 16 October 2015 (NNT)- Yala Governor Doldej Pattanarat is urging residents to help the authorities keep peace in the province by reporting to them of any suspicious individuals or vehicles.

The Yala governor said although he was satisfied with a security drill held by the security unit, it would be important to carry out the drill frequently so that those involved in the operation would remain calm as well as to prevent chaos in case of an emergency.

However, he said security officials are fully prepared to safeguard residents against any threats. Residents are also urged to help the authorities by immediately reporting to them if they run into anything irregular or suspicious-looking individual.
