It is possible that the service will continue after the festival should it be popular.The free tram service starts from Queen Sirikit 72nd Anniversary Park and runs along Thalang, Krabi, Satun, Dibuk, Rassada, Phang Nga, Phuket and Montri roads before returning to the park.Phuket Deputy Mayor, Dr Kosol Tang-Uthai said, “We have received support from a business which makes replica trams to get this service running. Fantastic, Thailand has invented the worlds first trackless tram (definition of tram:- a rail vehicle which runs on tracks along public highways) Be careful not to confuse this with a petrol driven bus!
