October 18, 201510 yr This drug seems to be everywhere and yet when I had a toothache and wanted something with codeine in it, I was treated as an addict. Bizarre.
October 18, 201510 yr I wonder how slip shod the counting of these pills is. I doubt any cop is going to sit there and count 332,000 pills? I wonder what the actual amount is seized and what is put into the evidence locker.

I am sure that these drug dealers can get you codeine. Just you the same source that they busted. If you are talking about codeine from a hospital, I don't think they will give you yaa baa either.
October 18, 201510 yr Never a Thai Mr. Big banker busted. When will we see that? I'd say dealing in a quarter of a million pills makes the person pretty high up in the chain.

The price for yabba pills will rise and farang junkies will finally leave this country alone dear farang junkies, no one need you here, please go to Cambodia! Price will go up, profit for the dealer is ensured.....Most drugs are seized because the competition tells the police. Usually narcotic mafia like to have contacts to politic as well. If you want to reduce narcotics you must hand them out at pharmacies so there is no profit for the mafia anymore. But well no donations to politicians as well.

Thais who caught high should be send to rehab. in their id card a mark should be made so they will never be able to get a good job, or become a public servant. they should be under close police surveillance till death. farangs caught high should be deported out of the kingdom with their fingerprints filed. they should be banned from entering the kingdom for life. this simple solution can eradicate drug using within a year. but international left-liberal mafia will never allow Thailand or any other country to do this. too much money is involved... So someone like me who was involved with drugs as young lad growing up should be branded and excluded from society for life? Do you have a drug of choice alcohol perhaps? In some countries that would see you imprisoned or receiving the lash. Your ignorance is astonishing and only serves as evidence that you have no idea what you are talking about.
October 18, 201510 yr Timmy T, the blight that is the drug war will likely frame this period in history, and in highsight the judicially driven destruction of lives far in excess of the small percentage of uses that have problems will be considered insanity and a sign of how archaic it was in the past. The war on personal freedom aka the drug war will continue, and the only people that benifit from the massive amount of resources spent losing it, are the drug dealers and manufacturers. Kinda sad for a crime that is categorized as a victimless crime the possession and consumption of drugs that is. Lucky ignorance and the wars propaganda have equipped you to continue the insanity, the drug lords thank you for your efforts. Edited October 18, 201510 yr by jcisco
October 18, 201510 yr "...if you really really want to eradicate drug using you should make compulsory drug-screening on the street 24 hours 7 days a week...." Why not a chip-implant monitoring your blood 24/7? Should be possible and much easier. Your ideas are not logical.
October 18, 201510 yr I wonder how slip shod the counting of these pills is. I doubt any cop is going to sit there and count 332,000 pills? I wonder what the actual amount is seized and what is put into the evidence locker. In the old days, it used to be done by weight on a digital scale Weigh a single pill 0.2g or weighh 100 or 1000 etc and then use that figure to calculate the total weight... but I wouldn't be surprised if they still make someone hand count them in Asia lol
October 19, 201510 yr Timmy T , You seem to know a lot about drug abuse and how to cure it, are you a druggie Most Thais cannot find jobs anyway, Police are Corrupt , and are the Biggest Maffia, any more useless ideas. No ! no , the biggest mafia here isn't the police ; they would like, but cannot; if they were the biggest one there were no vehicule tolls along the thai roads . " Petits joueurs" mafia boys in Thailand In Paris France, customs have seized 7, 1 tons of cannabis in one day http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/world/police-in-paris-seize/2202004.html
October 19, 201510 yr it seems to be the norm nowadays to go on drug raids at least they are showing results but by the same token there seems to be a never ending supply of people to fill in the gaps.
