When I was viewing a website with engineering jobs open for foreigners, I read in many descriptions that the candidate should have an "Engineering License". I tried to look it up with google but I can't find a decent description or explanation.

My questions are, what's the status of an Engineering License in Thailand, can a foreigner get one and at last: what's the procedure to get it?

I have a Masters in Engineering from a well known Dutch university.

You may have some luck searching on "Professional Engineer" or "P.E", possibly a "Sor Yor" or "Wor Yor" (senior engineer) in Thai.

Thailand has a Council of Engineers with a website at http://www.coe.or.th/ but it appears to be all in Thai.

A Consulting Engineers Association can be found at http://www.ceat.or.th/

There's also an IEEE Thailand website at http://www.ieeethailand.org/

Please post a followup if you find any good information.
