jaaaason
A friend of mine recently poised a question to me . In the case of "legal" same sex marriages , such as in the United States , will the government of Thailand recognize the "legal status". He legally "married his partner in the United States , and his partner also now has a green card. But if they wish to come back to Thailand to live his question is that countries have always accepted the marriage of male/female couples from other countries. Will Thailand now do that in the case of same sex relationships. Also would the marriage visa be a possibility , in that they are legally married in the United States......... ubonjoe
Thai is a signatory to an international treaty that requires them to accept a legal marriage certificate from another country. Not sure what you mean by a marriage visa. Are you asking about a non-o visa based up marriage to a Thai national.
