Freelance income, DTV visa, and Thai tax compliance
Hello everyone, I have a gig that pays me around $1,500 USD per month, and I usually receive the payments into my Wise account. The company that pays me is based in Singapore. I'm considering getting the DTV visa and staying in Thailand for more than 180 days in a calendar year. My question is: would it be legal to receive these payments directly into a Thai bank account, issue invoices to my client, and pay taxes in Thailand accordingly? I don’t mind paying taxes—I just want to make sure this kind of setup is compliant with Thai regulations. Thanks in advance for any insights! -
