Oct 1st Is Here

Featured Replies

i looked but have not found anyone reporting on their experiences with the new visa rules.

i just want someone with 3 or more visa on arrivals in their passport to have gone over and back and get another VOA.

in other words. do they really start counting from Oct 1? if verified then no worry. if not then i have to make plans to go get tourist visa.

thanks.

i think the new airport is still having mix-up so they are trying to get their act together, i dont think they would care about visa and stuff at the momment, i think after a few week they would get back on track.

Yes they start the count on October 1st and there are several reports that those with muli prior entry without visa stays have obtained new entries already. You should not have a problem.

Yes, 1 report, a border runner, was in another thread here - had 9 (I presume back to back) visa-free-stamps already and got in no problem/comments.

That would have them getting "serious" on the checking on 1st Jan 2007

Cheers!

just done my measai visa-run, from chiang mai.

i'v got a years worth of 30 day stamps in my passport but no problem.

there is a few bits of infomation stuck up on the imagration service window, about the changes, with minimal amounts of info.

there was people there who had no idea of any changes and look't shock't.

i had to show 10k baht, and then got my stamp.

like the other guy said, its gonna be intresting in 3 months time eh?
