ClareQuilty
I have some insurance documents which must be notarized. Are local notaries recognized by American institutions? Where can I find s notary?
lopburi3
The only notary service in Thailand for American documents is from the US Consulate. http://bangkok.usembassy.gov/service/notarial-services.html
ClareQuilty
Oh, thanks so much for the information. I was sort of afraid of that - that's going to entail a time-consuming and costly trip to Bangkok.
lopburi3
For some documents people have had local stamps (which are not official Notary) accepted but I would not count on that being the case for insurance (where they may look for any reason to deny payment). yougivemebaby
I just heard of a place online that will do it over skype. https://www.notarycam.com/?gclid=COO3-KzG88gCFZYXHwodhgcAcw#how-it-works or http://www.oncallnotary-va.com/ Or my favorite go to fiverr.com I saw two people who will notarize for you. only $5 ! I don't know if they will do it over skype though. Good luck
