Thailand's Tourism Authority (TAT) has brought 11 influencers and content creators from the UK, Australia and Japan to Phang Nga for its Amazing Thailand Surf & Wellness Journey. The visit is intended to generate international content promoting Phang Nga's beaches, nature, food, community life and health-focused tourism experiences. TAT wants to position the southern province as an emerging Asian destination for surf and wellness travel. For foreign residents and visitors, the campaign highlights a growing range of activity-based and wellbeing options beyond Phang Nga's established beach holidays, particularly around Khao Lak and Takua Pa. Surf, nature and wellbeing experiences Uthit Limsakul, director of the TAT Phang Nga Office, welcomed the group and presented the province's tourism products and services. He pointed to Phang Nga's surf-suitable beaches, intact natural surroundings and health and wellness services as strengths that match modern travel trends. The creators took part in Surf Therapy, a concept combining surfing with physical and mental wellbeing. Their programme also included a visit to The Board Factory, a surfboard manufacturing facility. Other activities included the Devasom Aqua Bath wellness experience at Devasom Khao Lak, a wellness and cooking class at La Vita Sana Khaolak, and Forest Bathing at Ton Chong Fa Waterfall.
