Mc555 Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Hey folks, Hope you're all well and can help me with this one.. have had a browse around and been unable to find a query that matches. I'm a student here and looking to pop out of the country for a few days to celebrate new year's eve somewhere.. new. Likely Hong Kong. However my ED visa is single entry and expires in mid-Jan. Ordinarily I would be extending it then for the next 90 days. Any suggestions on how best to navigate this one? Thanks
ubonjoe Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 You could get a single re-entry permit to keep your 90 day entry valid when you return. Then you could apply for the extension as soon as you return. You can get the re-entry permit for a fee of 1000 at an immigration office or at either airport in Bangkok 24 hours a day.on departure from the country.
Mc555 Posted November 16, 2015 Author Posted November 16, 2015 Great, think i can make that work with university visa admin. Thank you!
