PATTAYA: -- A video of what appeared to be a Leopard roaming free inside a Real Estate Office in Jomtien was investigated by District Officials and the Army on Tuesday and saw the seizure of a number of endangered animals from the location.

The video was reportedly shot some days earlier at the Wandee Group Real Estate Office off Jomtien Second Road and showed a Leopard roaming around the ground floor of the closed office.

Officials visited the office on Tuesday and met with Khun Nittaya, owner of the business, who confessed to caring for two Leopards she claimed to have rescued from a market vendor in Bangkok.

Both Leopards were injured and Khun Nittaya claimed she nursed the cats back to health. She also claimed to have lodged official papers with the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation so she could legally own the Leopards.

This is not tame house kitty it still has wild instince which danger children around . What good intention does not mean you set your own zoo in housing area.

You'd be amazed at how many rich Thais own animals like these. Sick.

She "rescued" them from a vendor?

What are these animals doing in a real estate office showroom?

Probably to stop people leaving without buying a condo.

How many then?

You have no idea what is living next door to you....

remember this TV folks

It is thought that there are more tigers in China on special farms bred for their cocks and other useless bits of their poor bodies in the name of "traditional medicine" than anywhere in the wild now.

The sick plot behind our dear neighbours who are eating the planet is that if they exterminate all the animals in the wild and they are the only ones with them left in captivity is that they can then make the price rocket. No more Elephants - how much for a tusk now Mr Li ping ting tong?

No more tigers /rhinos how much to enhance your sex drive Mr Minidong? I have a box of tiger penis here at a price.

This women was insane keeping leopards in the house. This is an animal with a propensity to change its demeanor in a lightning fast heartbeat. They normally take their prey by the throat, suphocating the victim noiselessly.

Would that be a much better headline........?

Silly woman, this is not a pet.

Now I have to go feed my bear!

Update - went past the building today and now it is not possible to see into the office. Some kind of plastic coating has been put on the inside blocking out any possible viewing of the interior..... and you do not have to be Sherlock Holmes to work out that if they have done that then the cats are still there. if you have enough money in LoS you can etc etc etc.....

You'd be amazed at how many rich Thais own animals like these. Sick.

How many then?

Yes, I would also be interested in knowing how many, and specifically about leopard ownership.

The exact number is irrelevant. If it's more than zero it's too many.

How about an approximate number then? You know most things, can you help out with a number.

The number is 1,285.3. Found it on Wikipedia.

Can only hope the owner gets eaten.
