Phayao police arrest narcotics dealer

Phayao province police arrested drug dealers and seized over 7000 methamphetamine pills.

Police from the Pusanghe (ภูซาง) precinct and special operations units from the Phayao provincial police apprehended 4 suspected narcotics dealers in Pusanghe district, and seized over 7000 methamphetamine pills. The suspects are identified as Mr. Deaw Sangsawang (เดี่ยว แสงสว่าง), Mr. Thante Phimnguen (ธเนศ พิมพ์เงิน), Mr. Adisak Samaksamarn (อดิศักดิ์ สมัครสมาน), and Mr. Nopadol Sangsawang (นพดล แสงสว่าง).

The narcotics dealers confessed to purchasing the methamphetamine pills from a hilltribeman in Chiang Rai province at a price of 230,000 Baht, and that the pills belonged to Mr. Samrai (สำราย), surname unknown.

Police will process the case according to the law, and will expand upon their initial investigation.
