Applying For A 30-day Extension At Immigration Office In Jomtien

Featured Replies

I'll be heading down to Jomtien Immigration Office to apply for a 30 day extension on my tourist visa in a few weeks. This will be the first time that I'm applying for one.

What are the procedures involved ie.

What questions do they ask?

What paper work do they require?

Do they require passport photos? If so, how many?

How long does it take?

Thanks in advance to anyone able to answer these questions.

A very simple 20 minute or so process. You will fill out a simple form, attach a passport photo and pay 1900 baht. YOu can get the form at immigration office.

I would suggest that you first go the the copy shop just outside the enterence. They will give you the form, copy the required pages of your passport and take your photo if required.

Sometimes immigration will ask you to come back in the afternoon or next day but as Pakboong sayes, I very simple process
