stoneyboy
Is the loan in your name or hers,if it's in her name as I suspect it will become her problem.

Pib
And just because the bank reprocesses it doesn't not mean they stop trying to collect the amount due them if resell the vehicle doesn't cover the outstanding loan amount.

blackcab
If you are paying for it after the split, I suggest you keep possession of it until you can sell it. I would suggest advertising it at a price that it will sell. You will undoubtedly owe the bank more money, but that's one of the costs of the divorce. Better than sitting on a depreciating asset that you pay the full price for and is worth very little at the end.

WorkingTourist
The first step (from the finance company) is likely to add interests and penalties (for missed payments), so once they repossess the car, there’s a good chance the debt is more than what the car will bring in, which means they still have a claim against you. NanLaew
Assets and debts acquired after the marriage are split 50/50. Even a Biz you cant own or land? No. If one is unfortunate to have 'invested' in either a Thai business as owner or partner or 'facilitated' a land purchase for a local, the funds associated with that were written off whenever that money was handed over.
