libya 115
Can anyone recommend a good and cheap dentist in Pattaya or Jomtien Good and cheap? Unlikely, or else we would all be going to him/her. If you live in Pattaya; try the dentist on soi 5, on the left hand side, approaching from 2nd Road opposite PIC kitchen. Scumbag
Can anyone recommend a good and cheap dentist in Pattaya or Jomtien I don't know if she is cheap by Thai standards but Dr Aree is good. She works in the hospital on Soi 4. The number for the Pattaya International Hospital is : +66 38 428374.
bjsanook
Try Dental Cafe half way up the road heading from Jomtien to Pattaya, right side, 200 meters from the intersection from hel_l. The place is different, relaxing, they have sedation if needed. House specialists and not too bad on the prices. Had the lady in, she was scared but I was able to sit in during the exam. I didn't mention I was a dentist so I was able to evaluate how they were. Other than the normal take off your shoes thing, they seemed pretty good. Newer equipment, the diagnosis was in line with what I thought. She went back several times and for the exam, bite wings, pano, cleaning and 4 small occlusals and one 2 surfce composite total was 5500 baht. They have internet and email. Looked like one guy as the head dentist and all female staff, 6 dentists or so. Try it out. BJ Edited October 9, 2006 by bjsanook
Thaiquila
I also have had some good experiences with the Dental cafe, using the head male dentist. Had a crown done which I felt was done quite competently. Moderate to high prices for the local market. Another thing about this place. I sincerely think they do not oversell their services as some dentists do. In other words, they won't push you to do something you don't need (other than whitening of course). bmanly
I have been going to a good Zanahart Dental Clinic at Pattaya Klang for 2 years now and the price, service and cleanliness is good. As you are coming from Sukhumvit Road towards beach road on Pattaya Klang it is about 50 metres down on the left hand side past 3rd. Road. Last week I had a scale and clean with checkup and the Dentist worked on me for 40 minutes non stop, the whole procedure cost only 500 baht. Well worth it. Kerryd
My Thai friends recommended a small clinic on South Pattaya Road. As you are heading towards 2nd Road, between soi DayNight and soi Hollywood, on the left side of the street 2-3 shops before soi Hollywood. It is supposedly quite a bit cheaper than the other clinics in the area (which is why my friends go there). Pretty good service. I had a root canal and a filling done, 2,600 baht total. When I get back in town I'm going to get some more work done there.
