Un-Nooh! Thai snooker player misses maximum break and US$66,000 prize

BANGKOK -- What's worse than fluffing a maximum break in snooker on the very last ball? Discovering that mistake just cost you US$66,000.

That was the cruel fate that befell Thailand's aptly named Thepchaiya Un-Nooh during a tournament in Britain late yesterday when a rushed final pot saw the black ricochet off the cushion.

Thepchaiya could barely believe his misfortune, returning to his seat crestfallen, his head in his hands.

Too quickly, too hard....on a simple shot......he must be pissed off with himself. Lets hope he will learn from that mistake by realising ...stay focussed 100% of the time. He sure proved he has the quality to play the game.
