kamalabob2
I can not comment about the brass valve selection of the Buriram HomePro store other than they have a great pillow and bedding selection. When I shop for a 3/4" spring check valve I go to a plumbing store in Buriram. Other provinces must have similar stores who specialize in water pumps, valves and water tanks. The price in Buriram for the 3/4" ANA brass spring check valve is 120 baht at a family owned builders merchant store. TP Valve makes the ANA brand brass spring check valve in Thailand. Other large Hardware stores in Thailand who actually stock a brand such as ANA should have this common item in stock. http://www.tpvalve.com/eng/valve03_2.htm

KhunBENQ
Thanks. Thought HomePro would only have PVC. Surprising. I have never seen one in PVC. All metal (bronze). I have two in 1/2" (a different type though). Available at both our upcountry home stores. Thai Watsadu, GLOBAL will have it. Every special hardware shop where they sell water pumps, pipes etc. should have it. (if you have one in your neighbourhood) Take a picture with you and ask. There is no Thai word for it, just a Thai style pronounciation of "check valve" ("cheque wave" ). Description of the different types in Thai language: http://www.sanwa.co.th/cds/index.php/th/product/sanwa/check-valve Mine are the type seen in the first picture. canopy
When comparing fittings check how deep the threads go. I dislike Ana because their fittings have so few threads to screw into. So what happens is some types of pipes will bottom out before having a chance to get tight.
