PHUKET: -- The much-protested against ‘Hollywood Movie Museum’ originally slated for Nai Harn could very well end up in Karon or Mai Khao, confirmed officials.

“K2L Advertising Co – the Bangkok-based company hired to build the museum – has the necessary contacts to get Hollywood memorabilia that is associated with filming in Phuket,” explained Santi Pawai, director of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports Phuket Office.

“There will be five buildings housing photo exhibits. Additionally, there will be a small cafe and a facility for showering – as a general service for beachgoers.”

Talk about a complete waste of money, time and effort. I smell one egotistical person involved here. Tourists come here for the beach and not a single Thai's own interpretation of Hollywood. 5 buildings of crap that will go down in flames just like the other brainless ideas that come up. Oh yeah lets put it on the beach and add a shower as a selling point. <deleted> is wrong with these people
