Catching him would of been straight forward. take a look at him. 100 % criminal scumbag haircut, scumbag face , no dress sense and tattoos.

Cambodian police would of been alerted to his presence in Cambodia and he stood out in Pen like a shag on a rock.

"Antonio Bagnato, 26, was detained in Phnom Penh after handing himself in."

Looks like he wasn't exactly caught - strange act for a hardened gangster to "hand himself in" Could be more here than meets the eye.

Why do we get these scumbags here?

These bikie types are a problem in AUS & should be denied passports to stop them from spreading their bad actions & habits in other countries.

I'm a proud Aussie & don't like to see Australia's reputation tarnished by these useless types, usually, on AUS social welfare payments as can't hold down a job (unemployable).

Hope Thai court finds him guilty & locks him up for life, useless piece of s**t !!!

Reputation? Did it not start off a a penal colony?

Get up to speed....it didn't start as a penal colony, it was inhabited by indigenous aboriginals before any civilisations as we know them existed & England established two penal settlements in late 1700's, rest of the country has been settled by migrants since that time.

Take a look at most countries heritages & you'll likely find fairly basic beginnings.

So, anyone who isn't an aboriginal tribe descendant, must be from a penal colony crew ...trying not to laugh but :) seems like crime comes naturally to some of these guys...

What a bunch of amateurs.having one of your group rent a car in which to do the deed.Hang around as a non local in the coumtry you did it in, Stupid AMATEURS.You steal a car, do the deed, then get the hell out of the country.

Should have rented the Jeep monthly, and dig the hole deeper where it wouldn't be found immediately

Don't try to escape immediately after it

Just live as usual and I doubt thai police would ever miss a farang gangster enough to make enquiries about his disappearance anyway....

Do you have a reading difficulty?? Said" ... Rest of country has been settled by migrants since that time ( being 1850 to present day) Kaew jai!! Perhaps, you come from a model country & had a sheltered life; maybe you're not up to a tough environment. Sad really!!

The video doing the rounds on facebook definately does not show him as "turning himself in".

He was arrested on the street and cuffed and taken away on the back of a scooter.

https://www.facebook.com/795970740514306/videos/805617386216308/

Bit of an assumption there?

I can't see him being arrested on the street or being cuffed in that video.

He is already cuffed, maybe already arrested. Doesn't appear to be resisting at all. Could have already turned himself in (i.e. told them where he was or some such)

policeman right at the beginning of the vid is putting on the cuffs.

Scooter on the ground suggests a scuffle took place.

But then as you say he might have already been arrested and cuffed, this could have been them taking him back to Thailand.

Don't really wanna argue but if you pause on 0:00 seconds there is a cop blocking sight of the perp's body but you can still see his hands with cuffs already on. Like you say though, who knows what happened prior. Cameraman was just a bit too late to the party :)

Agree there are many living here and they give us all a bad name. One of numerous reasons i avoid the tourist slums and the majority of foreigners visiting, hiding and living here. you can tell the quality of foreigner they are by the quality of other foreigners they hang with and the Thai women they are with. Perhaps (rent) is a better word. No decent Thai woman would tend to hang with questionable looking foreigners.

Negerians look angels comparatively to these hideous farangs criminals, killers, pedophiles and all sort of trash living here.

Gee Zuss H PM....

You come off sounding like a country preacher!

Maybe time to change your avatar (carefully chosen?), fine upstanding gentleman that he is... whistling.gif

Schneider, a gang leader and former “most wanted” criminal in his native Australia with previous arrests for robbery, drug trafficking and assault, was found dead in a shallow grave in Sattahip district on Wednesday, close to an area commonly known as “Big Buddha HIll”.

... was, by all appearances holidaying in Thailand quite legally. He had paid rent six months in advance so not intent on hiding. His house guests have similar pedigrees - so how many more criminals are walking in and out of Thailand, unhindered?

Thailand - the hub of SE Asian crime: send us your wicked, your murderous, your psychotic - so long as they have money...

The United states would not let peolple with criminal backgrounds into the USA.

Thailand has to follow suite, maybe take a lesson from Singapores book, I heard that some time ago the military rounded up all the bikers and arrested them and chopped up their bikes and dumped them onto a military truck.

Gangs are outlawed in singapore, however it seems the the good old LOS will let festering scum into LOS at will.

Thailand is overdue for a clean up tighten up the visa process by demanding a criminal record reports and banning these criminals from entry.

And ban bike gangs as Singapore has of any denomination Immediately.

That would make the PM a rock star overnight.

Come month end collection time, the BIB would be asking questions.

I agree, in that there must be many disappearing without trace, but I would bet the BIB are possibly the reason for a few of the 'disappearing'...

totally agree on the "handing himself in bit" this was started by the Aussie papers., as said before if you watch the video, he was arrested on the street, he didnt "walk into a police station" as some poster on here would make you believe,Duh ? !! WATCH THE VIDEO, then post your thoughts on the matter.

Wow this is fantastic police work..... Wonder why they could not track down and arrest Thaksin the same way..... buddies I suppose!!!!

Why do simple minded people try to be funny by bringing Thaksin into the case. If they have nothing sensible or intelligent to say, why do they make such fools of themselves. rolleyes.gif

He hasn't surrendered to the police, that's why.

And he is rather too smart than to give himself up to a trumped up kangaroo court. I would'nt, would you ?

True, though, point being, when in AUS, don't hold down regular jobs, so try to get Gov't welfare and/or income from illegal means, drugs etc.

So lets say 30 million tourists come to Thailand, you want them all to get a criminal record check.I rekon you just killed the tourist industry in one mad idea.

Because, thank God, he's not the shiniest spanner in the set. Hiring a pickup equipped with GPS is fairly strong evidence of that.

Indeed. Getting the Thai wife involved at all and then having her sanitize the cell phone info probably wasn't a good business decision

-----------------------------------------

Typical arrogance and stupidity on his part.

He knew the police were looking for him Thailand so he decided to cross the border to Cambodia.

he was caught trying to get out of Thailand into Cambodia.

Hemust have assumed that all Thai police were stupid and couldn't tell one Farang from another anyhow.

The way i read it - he turned himself in to Cambodian police! See (post 11)

see the other post showing the video of his capture and arrest. Looks like he was just out on the street on a bike and got surrounded by a lot of cops

Well looks like more than one of these numpties will get taken from circulation.

No sadness here. I don't mind bikers, just no space in my world for the lunatic ones.

The idea of renting a car to commit a murder is absurd, steal one just before....

But to not check it for GPS in either, in this day and age? Dumb and dumber.

Blind leading the dead, to the edge and over.

How does one check a car for a GPS tracker ?

Look under the hood, dashboard, undercarriage and especially the trunk. They often have an antenna and say GPS in the box.

Not to mention rental cars are known to have them because they get stolen, or not returned on time often enough that fleets like to be able to track their assets.

Thailanf should do like many restaurants, gyms etc in Japan, just deny heavily tattooed people entry to Thailand, unless you are from a tribe in Birneo or such. If you look like this guy, you are no good and abnormal.

LOL...this site is getting more idiotic everyday. People with your level of grey matter should be banned from pc use :);) ;-)
