I cannot help wondering though if so many would be violent if we had a 'legal' right to defend ourselves instead of being told to go to the police who either don't care or are useless. All you need do is look at America's gun death statistics to see where that goes. We've enough lunatics with guns & bombs down south without adding to the carnage.
