blomarel Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Does anyone know if a short extension, such as 15 days, is possible for a 12 month retirement extension which is not being renewed. What documentation is required and are there any special requirements? Thanks!
ubonjoe Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Only 7 days to leave the country is possible after applying for a 7 day extension. If married to a Thai a 60 day extension would be possible.
blomarel Posted December 5, 2015 Author Posted December 5, 2015 Thanks for response. This is for a foreigner and foreign dependent spouse on retirement extension which will not be renewed. So I understand your response to be 7 days? Do you know what the fee is by any chance, and what documentation is required? Thanks! ubonjoe Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 The fee is 1900 baht. Copies of passport photo page, visa, extension stamp, entry/permit to stay stamp and TM6 departure card, A completed TM7 form with a 4 x 6 cm photo attached.
Jip99 Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 If 15 days is required would it not be easier to just do a border run ?
