Does anyone know if a short extension, such as 15 days, is possible for a 12 month retirement extension which is not being renewed. What documentation is required and are there any special requirements?

Only 7 days to leave the country is possible after applying for a 7 day extension.

If married to a Thai a 60 day extension would be possible.

Thanks for response. This is for a foreigner and foreign dependent spouse on retirement extension which will not be renewed. So I understand your response to be 7 days? Do you know what the fee is by any chance, and what documentation is required?

The fee is 1900 baht.

Copies of passport photo page, visa, extension stamp, entry/permit to stay stamp and TM6 departure card, A completed TM7 form with a 4 x 6 cm photo attached.

If 15 days is required would it not be easier to just do a border run ?
