Friend Missing

Featured Replies

Hi All

This is so odd.

I have a friend that was here on vacation. I saw him on Thursday night & spoke to him on Friday. On Saturday, he checked out of his Bangkok hotel but he didn't arrive in the UK.

He was keen to get back to the UK as the young guy he left in charge of his business (building timber frames for houses) was at the end of his rope.

He did not go to pick up his car which was at a friends house, he hasn't called any family members, his phone is switched off. The first I knew about him not getting home was when one of his employees called me to ask where he was. Last night - his family were calling.

So - how do I proceed here ? Will the airline help ? JWill the embassy help ? Will immigration tell me if he left ?

I know what many of you will be thinking - that he's gone off the rails, but it's not his style. I want to find out if he left Thailand. If he didn't, I then want to find out is he's in trouble in any way.

Advice would be appreciated.

Pedro

Hi,

While I sympathise with your problem I'm afraid that Thaivisa.com does not offer a missing persons service.

If anyone has any information or advice please contact the OP by PM

Thanks
