BANGKOK, 7 December 2015 (NNT) - The National Reform Steering Assembly (NRSA) will hold a progress report session from December 21 - 22, as a New Year's gift to the public and in preparation for the ASEAN integration.

NRSA First Deputy-Speaker Alongkorn Ponlaboot said the NRSA has progressed to its second phase of the reform roadmap, with NRSA Speaker Capt Thinapan Nakata calling for a special committee meeting on December 9 and 17 to discuss the progress of implementing all 11 national reform agendas. The results of the meeting will be presented at the NRSA’s progress report on December 21 -22.

In addition, Mr Alongkorn revealed that the whips from the NRSA, Cabinet and National Legislative Assembly (NLA) will hold a joint meeting on December 9 and 16 to discuss cooperation between the three major reform bodies, in order for the reform roadmap to meet its stipulated timeframe and for related laws and reform agendas to be enforced accordingly.

Mr Alongkorn noted that the progress report on December 21 - 22 will serve as a New Year's gift to the public as the assembly will detail how it has implemented various reform agendas.
