Min of Social Development prepares New Year program to improve quality of life

BANGKOK, 17 December 2015 (NNT) -- The Ministry of Social Development and Human Security has prepared a New Year program aimed at benefiting the Thai people, especially children and persons with disabilities.

Social Development and Human Security Minister Pol Gen Adul Saengsingkaew revealed that the ministry's program has seven New Year 'gifts,' which include housing projects available from January 2016 for 2,200 people, increasing the disability loan ceiling to 60,000 baht, a total of 500,000 winter blankets for 62 provinces struggling with the cold season, and the ministry's goodwill event held from January 6 -22, 2016 at Khlong Padung Krung Kasem floating market.

The ministry's program is part of government policy to reduce social inequality and increase accessibility of public services.
