Pioneering Service For Refugees

Featured Replies

High All,

A few friends of mine from Denmark have recently setup this pioneering website (non-profit/charitable) aimed at re-uniting refugees with loved ones, family, friends etc.

The number one fear of nearly all refugees is their fear of anything governmental or official. They refuse to put their full names and addresses into any form of records. They have fled persecution, torture, terror and often death; and the memories never leave the shadows of their minds. Sadly enough, to a refugee anything official equals all the uncertainty, fear and failed hopes they have escaped.

Refugees United is a brilliant service in that it empowers refugees to take the search for relatives into their own hands, anonymously if so desired.

Currently, they are the only aid organization facilitating direct and unhindered contact between refugees of all causes, be that as a refugee of famine, poverty, religion, immigration, religious or ethnic persecution etc. Everyone is welcome in our database.

BUT, they NEED THE WORD SPREAD! This forum has been such a tremendous resource for so many that I couldn't think of a better place to start than here for starting the ball rolling in Thailand.

Just google "refunite" and you'll find your way...

Thanks for your time,

W. :o
