Good morning all, does any one have any idea what the reasoning is/was for closing the consulate in Annerley? I know that Bill retired but his wife was running it for a time and I have to say it was very efficient and also very convenient, user friendly for all of those travelers leaving from Brisbane. Last I heard Bill had retired to Hua Hin. Any one know? Best wishes to all for the upcoming Festive season.

It closed because the honorary consul retied and their was no replacement for him. I understand he had given notice to the embassy long before he retired but they never found a successor.
