Russia open to cooperation with Europe



MOSCOW: -- President Vladimir Putin says he is ready and willing to cooperate with Europe and other countries on matters of security, economy and politics.

He made his comments in a documentary aired on the Russian state TV channel RTR.

His stated willingness to work with others came despite criticisms he made he made about Europe’s relationship with the United States.

“It seems to me, and if I’m wrong about this someone should tell me, that European countries are interested in working with Russia in economic and political matters as well as the fight against terrorism, resolving environmental problems and tackling organised crime. We’re ready for this work.”

On Monday the European Union is due to decide whether to renew sanctions on Russia in the energy, banking and defence sectors until the end of July 2016.

Relations between the West and Moscow have been strained recently over Russia’s actions in Ukraine and its support for Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad.

Putin's balls are still sore from when Erdogan gave Vlad a good swift one.

What is good for Russia is not necessarily good for EU and all states liberated from judeocommunism after 1989. German - Russia cooperation spells disaster in a long run for all those Baltic states and past soviet's satellites. Remember I World War, the German testing of prohibited weapons in Russia during post era of I World War, the II World War with Ribbentrop - Molotov Pact?

Angela Merkle was head political indoctrination in communist youth organisation in East German "Democratic" Republic; she is and having dictatorial powers now, very similar to Putin in Russia. The rest of EU is like blind and deaf dog trying to follow the master. With time Germans will hate her for what she is doing and for what she's done for Germany recently. Russian political system changes,but the policy stays the same and will always be this way. Russian imperialism never give ups; wherever Russian solder stood, it's still their land, or under their influence. This same as in China. Watch those two under the microscope and for the new year wish them dressed under the "light soil".

Globally Putin is a bust.

It would be fair to say that included in the 21% of Americans in the cited poll are many if not most of the Trump fanboyz. The Trump-Putin bromance will end as soon as Putin begins insisting Trump lay back and do the spread eagle. Because that is what Putin is all about.

EU is prepared to take economic sanctions through 2017. Let's see how Putin continues to hold up under ongoing circumstances. GDP is minus-5%. Inflation is 20%. The ruble is a rubble. Interest rates are in the mid-teens. Putin used to budget based on oil at $100 but now he's budgeting based on oil at $50.

Europe is finished with Putin and so are the rest of us.

Putin's latest groveling as reported in the OP and elsewhere does not and will not change the fact. Putin has to sign the Minsk Agreement reletive to Ukraine. Then there is Syria. The list is long and goes on and on and.......the list is simply too long.

He would in deed be a nut if he decided to retake the above mentioned countries which all,except from Finland are NATO members.So this is just a part of the Western scaremongering and propaganda going on.
