3x Entry?

Featured Replies

I'm sending out my visa application tomorrow. A lot of people have recommended 2x entry, but I'm unsure that'll cover the time I'll want/need to vacation for a month, find and finish a TEFL course, and find work. Is it common to request 3x? Is the request usually granted? Are the 30 day extension of stays on tourist entry visas usually granted? Thanks in advance.

A 3-entry tourist visa is a common request. It's a fair request from someone that indicates the need to leave and return to Thailand a few times during the course of the visa validity period (ie 6 months).

We still don't have a clear answer as to whether or not 30 day extensions are guaranteed on a tourist visa. I have a 3-entry tourist visa and will be seeking an extension at the Immigration Office in 2 weeks from now. I've been in Thailand for most of the last 8 months (the first 6 months on 30 day stamps), so I'll soon find out.
