Rimmer
Pleasure boat destroyed by fire at Pattaya Port PATTAYA:--On Tuesday afternoon, Pattaya Fire Fighters and medics rushed to the Bali Hai Port in South Pattaya to deal with a boat fire. Officials quickly determined that no one was injured in the fire and tourists who were boarding a boat nearby were taken to safety while the fire was brought under control. The fire took hold of the “Pedtadar” Pleasure Boat which has been moored at the Port for the last 3 months after it developed engine problems. The owners are waiting for spare parts to arrive so the engine could be fixed. The boat was licensed for 60 passengers and would be used to ferry people to Pai Island, located off the coast of Pattaya. Where does it say that the fire was quickly brought under control? Oh, yes, nowhere. My mistake.......outcome just the same.......first photo doesn't appear to have been under control ....unless saving it from sinking means "under control" Edited December 22, 2015 by DD13
