sparkey Posted December 22, 2015 Share Posted December 22, 2015 Just wondering if anyone has recently acquired a yellow book in the Banchang area. Had one before but that was many years ago. I'm renting in Phala but only staying on visa exempt stamps. Just like to know how easy / difficult it is. Got a moped I can't put in my name, would like to get a new thai license and buy a car . Langsuan Man Posted December 23, 2015 Share Posted December 23, 2015 Don't know how you would get a Yellow book without a long term visa , same for a Residency Certificate from Immigration for a license and motorcycle registration, also without a long stay type visa I know that there are different rules in different Amphurs regarding Yellow Books, but the one consistent thing is the possession of a real visa, not visa exempt stamps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My place is rented for three years but work back in the UK for 6-9 months a year. Maybe I'll have to find a can do man when I get back. Sure there'll be a way. Or maybe just multiple COR's.
