MisterFingers
I have to make a couple of day trips to Bangkok. I know there's a bus that goes to the Ekkamai sky train station. Is this the only Bangkok bus? How often do these buses run? When do they start in the morning? If I just show up at the bus terminal, am I likely to get the next bus? Any info is appreciated. eyebee
Buses also depart to Morchit in northern Bangkok (used to be the best bet for the airport - but obviously not now). To Ekamai buses depart approx. every half hour, but if there are lots of people they will put on an extra one. Just turn up - you will usually get on a bus within 15 - 20 mins except on days when lots of people are travelling (Songkran, elections etc.)
libya 115
Throughout the day, buses leave at approximately 30 minute intervals, but early in the morning 6-8 am. they leave every 20 minutes. Just turn up: I have never waited more than 15 minutes for a bus to leave Pattaya North Bus station.

allane
1. Pattaya - Bangkok: Allow 2 1/2 hrs. 2. Sorry, I don't know, as I have never used it myself in the evening. 3. One way fare is 121 baht.
