snoop1130 Posted December 29, 2015 Share Posted December 29, 2015 Army chief promotes Drink Don’t Drive campaignNNT NewsBANGKOK, 29 December 2015 (NNT) -- The army chief has urged the general public not to drink and drive to ensure public safety, urging all agencies to support the government and the NCPO's operations, the army spokesperson says.The Spokesperson of the Royal Thai Army Col Sirichan Ngathong has revealed the outcome of the meeting of agencies within the Royal Thai Army, chaired by the Army Commander-in-Chief Teerachai Nakwanich, who has urged all agencies to perform their duties with utmost effort.According to the spokesperson, the army chief has asked all agencies to promote the government’s Drink Don’t Drive campaign for public safety during the holiday season, while the campaign has so far was received by related sectors positively.All army units are asked to support operations by initiated by government and the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO), in order to push the country forward according to the designated road map and to maintain national order.Army officials have been urged to facilitate the general public at public service points dutifully in all areas, to assist road users during the holidays.The Royal Thai Army will also be making adjustments to its border units’ mission to comply with the realization of ASEAN community, and to further enhance good relations with the neighbouring countries.Source: http://thainews.prd.go.th/website_en/news/news_detail/WNPOL5812290010011 -- NNT 2015-12-29 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Next thing you see is them being run over by a drunken driver. I thought that advert drove the message home. Pity there are not more adverts like this on Thai tv.
