Five new graft busters vow to carry on investigating the Rajabhakti park scandal



BANGKOK: -- Five new members of the National Anti-Corruption Commission formally assumed their offices today (Monday) with a vow to perform their duties with honesty, transparency and justice.

NACC chairman Pol Gen Watcharaphol Prasarnratchakit also vowed to undertake investigation into suspected corruption in the construction of the Rajabhakti park project in Hua Hin.

The Defence Ministry’s probe team has completed its fact finding investigation into the park project and its findings are to be passed on to the NACC for consideration.

The other four new anti-graft commissioners are General Bunyawat Kruahong, Mr Witthaya Arkhompitak, Mrs Suwana Suwanchutha and Mr Surasak Srivichien.

The other four old commissioners are Mr Preecha Lertkamonlert, Pol Gen Sathaporn Laothong, Mr Narong Rath-amarit and Ms Supa Piyachitti.

Well maybe they can unmask this amulet trader. He / she must be very important / have dirt on everybody if this far into the whole mess still remains completely nameless. Even a blind man could see how rotten this whole thing has become.

The fact that this "fact finding committee" didn't have the authority to ask questions to ascertain anything shows a willingness to deceive, or at least that's how it appears. Heads should roll for this, but I guess the cynic in me says this will have a nice space under the rug long term
