PATTAYA: -- Late on Tuesday Night a team of over 30 District Officials and Army personnel conducted a raid on a village in North Pattaya where illegal drug activity was thought to be prevalent.

After a planning meeting at the District Office, the team made their way to the Drongpup Village in Naklua and began a sweep of houses in search of drug dealers and others engaged in illegal drug activity.

No drug dealers could be found and no seizure of drugs was made, although 8 illegal foreign immigrants who did not possess passports were detained and later transferred to Immigration.
