phuketsub Posted January 7, 2016 Share Posted January 7, 2016 Just a head's up for anyone looking for something interesting for the kids on Saturday, which is National Children's Day. They are having a HUGE airshow at the Air Force Base, near Hat Yai Airport. About 20,000-30,000 people turned up last year for the event, when it was held for the first time in over a decade. They will have a stunt pilot show by Les "The Mad Hungarian" Vorosworthy. There will also be F-16s and other military aircraft, as well as privately-owned, small fixed-wing aircraft flying in from Phuket and other parts of Thailand.
