Today's ceremony with the monks

My wife left home more then an hour ago, carrying many heavy bigs with food/drinks for the monks.

10 minutes ago i saw the neighbours also go there, with a pullcart.

Just 1 minute ago i saw another neighbour driving his car full speed through the moobaan to the ceremony place in the common park.

Then he came back and raced off full speed again....guess he was late today.

Can they just come any time? My wife must be sitting there an hour allready?

Is your wife also bringing food to the monks right now?

It depends on what the occasion is. Normal giving is morning but times vary - but here in city monk comes around on Subaru each morning between 7 and 8. There have been special New Year/Children Day boons the last several years and that was at about 1000 yesterday in our mooban. These are often combined with normal just before noon meal for monks.
