Z Pay TV Box, 365 Days but All Contracts Now Cancelled?

Featured Replies

Something going on here? We're not sure....sad.png

Last year we installed a satellite system in our house. The best choice at that time seemed to be Z HD Pay TV, 365 Days, which meant you got some "pay" channels to watch for 1 year. All well and good and we bought the package (box) and everything was installed correctly.

Just recently, we got a smartphone message to say that all contracts were being cancelled as from 18th February, where we (and everybody else, apparently) would no longer be able to watch the "pay" channels, no matter if there was still a shorter or longer remaining contract period. This all due to the company apparently being bought out (taken over) by another company.

We've heard of people buying this package in January, this year (3rd hand info....) and who will get around 1 month of their 12 month "free" viewing, before the "pay" channels disappear from under their noses.

Anybody else have this package - and does anybody know what is going on? Is just cutting contracts like this allowed in this country? Yeah, I know, TIT....

It seems that some of the Thai language websites (i.e Panthip) are starting to kick up a storm about this, perhaps because most viewers are Thai......

Comments welcome

Cheers
