I think you mean 6th verse, 4th verse seems pretty innocuous, quite good idea.

Yes, but I have also seen it quoted as the 4th verse.

I am a Scot, but not a proud one. I won't go into the reason why again.

The verse mentioning Scotland is not considered part of the official anthem, and is never sung - most of the time only the first verse is used anyway.

I think the words to this song are both inspiring and appropriate.

That's true, but there is no way I will ever stand for the British National Anthem.

On second thought, I recant. England needs to return to some point in a 12th. Century (William Wallace era) time-frame, then restart the Empire building process, all over again Maybe they'll hold on to it (The Empire) longer, next time around; maybe????
