BRUSSELS: -- Paris attacks fugitive Salah Abdeslam, caught on CCTV after the attacks, is reported to have contacted his lawyer.

The story comes from the Belga new agency quoting what it called a reliable source.

The report has appeared in media throughout Europe however there’s been no official confirmation of the contact.

The lawyer in question, Sven Mary, refused to comment on the rumour and Belgian federal prosecutors said they have not been contacted by Mr Mary.

130 people died in the attacks on November the 13 and many more were injured.

Prosecutors in Paris on Thursday said the suicide bomber who blew himself up in a Saint-Denis flat linked to the attackers has been identified as Chakib Akrouh, a Belgian-Moroccan born in Belgium in 1990.

he would be the first lawyer ever to represent IS and IS terrorist, it's no secrete that lawyers

will not stop at nothing for a buck....

Eleven belgian lawyers defended IS fighters and the IS recruiters of terrorist group "Sharia for Belgium" in 2014.

Funny this!

He is expecting to "hide behind" the very same legal system consisting of infidels that they hate so much....

He should be given the same rights to a legal representative as all the Paris victims got before they got killed.........!

whistling.gif I am not trying to be rude....but you need to understand that if you truly believe in the legal system and the right to a fair and honest trial then you must allow even people such as him the right to a lawyer and a fair trial.

Otherwise, you are no better morally than he is.

Or as sheriff used to say in those John Wayne movies, "We can' just take the S.O.B. outside and hang him....we have to give a fair trail first"
