Your new, own brand bread is excellent in taste, and great value for money. Thanks.

The same goes for many of your cheeses, but why do you wrap them in military grade plastic?

Save yourself time and money, same for the customer, by using 1 layer of cling film.

Also, I cannot believe your 41 baht for 6 pieces of fish package. I thought it was a 1 off when I first bought it, 6 months back, but it now seems a standard item.

Farang friends are using them to re-create fish finger sandwidges, a Westerner's comfort food, and the 3 Thai restaurant owners I know have built them into their menu in various ways, and eat a lot themselves. You should publicise these things more.

You are by far the best supermarket here. Please stay the same.

Best regards,

For those not in the know, Foodland has great, cheap, locally produced cheeses, about half the price of all other stores, and 1 piece of their fish, it comes breadcrumbed, in a sarnie with a bit of salad, some mayo, maybe a dash of mustard will cost u less than 30 baht and be a taste sensation.

Shouldnt that read Ode to Foodland?

Aren't you just telling them to raise their prices? Come on! Try using a little common sense here! coffee1.gif

I like their delicatessen and their bakery. A range of products that is very hard to find elsewhere is available.

Just to balance that out, some of the Pattaya branch staff are looking scowly (Is that a word?) these days. This is despite me being one of the most approachable and amiable farangs I know.

No financial interest here. I'm a university lecturer trying to point ppl in the right direction. If any greed was involved I would not be teaching local kids for upto 5 hours a week for free. Does get me a lot of free food from their parents, though. Teaching at MBA level is a definite draw in the hood.,

Also did 2 years, 4 hours a week for free at Empower, the global union for working girls. Classroom was the Super Pussy Club in Patpong and classes were for girls wanting out of prostitution..

To see 60% plus of my students being able to get out of the game, ie. not having to shag abusive, fat, smelly farangs and get decent jobs in hotels, restaurants, etc, gives me more satisfaction than anything I've achieved at unis, or in my life.

Pls, therefore, do not accuse me of being cash motivated.

Cheers and b lucky..

BTW, I like sex drugs and rock and roll as much as anyone.

Unfortunately, I have a moral barrier when it comes to students.

Don't screw the crew, never poke the payroll was gospel when I managed bars, pubs, and nightclubs for 15 yrs in the UK.

The 24 hour restaurants are pretty awesome, too.

Please hurry up to Jomtien area Foodland
