January 17, 201610 yr Hello, during my trip to Nong Khai I stumbled across this sign. Always interested to see some agricultural project I drove around almost one hour but could not find it. Even the Thai locals I asked did not know about it. Anyone has been there already or some more information? Thanks

January 17, 201610 yr Where is the sign situated ? Ampheur Na Yung is in Udonthani. I know nothing beyond that; I just read the sign for you, and did some basic research to determine which province it is in. When you find out more, come back and tell us. Edited January 17, 201610 yr by allane

Thats in northern Thailand (Doi Inthanon National Park). The sign directs to Amphoe Nayung in Udon Thani (!) province (northern Isan, northeast Thailand). I must admit never heard of "Nayung Coffee": FB site: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Nayungcoffee/1484225585157699 Edited January 17, 201610 yr by KhunBENQ
January 17, 201610 yr So, if it is both 55 km from Pak Chom, and located within Ampheur Na Yung, Udon Thani, I think it must be on or near the north-south leg of Rural road 2348. This is map detective work on my part. I certainly haven't been there !
January 17, 201610 yr Author It could be the Nayung Coffee from this FB page. Though from the sign I expected something like an agricultural station, similar to the Royal Project.

I tried to find a proof for that (Royal Project) to no avail. And of course Nayung coffee is at least part of this enterprise. The thread title as such does not fit as it is in Nayung district. Nothing to do with Pak Chom.

I would call this a minority position And I have absolutely no idea what you want to say in this context. Its not a "sponsored link" or what is your point? Sure I would also like to know how it tastes and what it costs. So lets wait for a first hand report. (that was irony) Edited January 17, 201610 yr by KhunBENQ

December 24, 20169 yr I bought some Nayung coffee beans while visiting Wat Pa Phukon about 3 months ago. Excellent stuff! I also noted some Nayung branded roadside coffee shops on the way back down 2348 but not so many closer to Muang Udon. However, I am pretty sure it can be found in the city unless I was another victim of Thailand's liberal second-hand use of advertising canvasses and hoardings. You know, when you see a Pizza Company special advert roadside at a mom and pop paint store in Nakhon Nowhere.
